Derrick Hill

Derrick Hill started his career in the mortgage industry in 2002. He has gathered experience at some of the most notable financial institutions such as Bank Of America, Colonial Savings, and First National Bank. In 2016 he realized there was a more efficient way to offer mortgages to his clients. That is when he opened Star Lending Group for business. Since opening Star Lending Group he has been able to offer more loan products to his customers, faster closings, and has saved his clients thousands of dollars in closing fees compared to his competitors.

He has been married to his high school sweetheart since 2002 and they share three children, Olivia 16 Gavin 12, and Jake 11. He’s been active in his local community of Prosper Texas for the last 11 years and serves on the Student Ministry team at his church Prestonwood Baptist Church. Derrick takes pride in making sure that everyone of his customers is a customer for life and feels like part of his extended family.
